Introduction

Over the last 10 years in the globalized world it has become common for people to have plastic surgery. Some patients enjoy the results, and plastic surgery has become a part of the culture in some countries such as Korea. However, plastic surgery has also been the cause of a number of serious health and emotional problems.

The main part of this blog has been organized into arguments for and against plastic surgery. However, it is primarily opposed to plastic surgery, which can damage the body.

The first argument will describe the benefits and the reasons why people are still willing to try plastic surgery.  The second argument will present the drawbacks including risks and unsuccessful reviews.

Benefits of Plastic Surgery

There are some benefits of plastic surgery, mainly the  emotional benefit helping people feel better about their external appearance and helping patients who want to have higher self-esteem and confidence.  Making changes can achieve a certain look, which can enhance people's social confidence and help them be accepted by society.

Tommy Gunn states that some people opt for plastic surgery in order to have better job opportunities. An improvement can help people become more successful in their careers.

Another reason for plastic surgery is it can assist people who have physical deformities, include mastectomy patients, children born with a cleft lip and individuals with scarring.  Plastic surgery can help these people regain their confidence. Some patients have conceded that they should have had plastic surgery earlier because the results were fantastic.
